Many families wonder whether a caregiver from Eastern Europe is really employed legally. Here we explain it simply — without the legal jargon.
The caregiver stays formally employed by a company in their home country and is officially “posted” from there to you in Germany. This means you, as the family, never become the employer and don't have to manage any employment.
The caregiver does not work undeclared or as a bogus self-employed contractor, but has a real employment contract with regulated working hours and pay. That protects the caregiver — and you.
Through their employment at home, the caregiver is covered by social insurance — health, pension and accident insurance. You don't need to register or pay any additional contributions in Germany.
The A1 certificate is the official proof that the caregiver is socially insured in their home country and may legally work in Germany. This document is in place for every placement — and we take care of it.
Every caregiver for in-home senior care is personally selected, verified and supported — many with experience in elderly care and dementia support.

A nursing home can be the right path. But many parents wish to stay in their own four walls — and there are good reasons for that wish.
We don't want to speak ill of nursing homes — they do valuable work. We simply show why care at home is a good alternative for many families.
